The show will be on display for 6 weeks, from September 25th until November 6th. The vernissage event will take place on Tuesday, October 3rd at 7pm, and will feature live music and prizes!

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask Michelle at the Rooster, or email Emily at emily@atomicrooster.ca !

*HOW TO MAKE YOUR ART “HANG READY”

Most art will be hung on “s” hooks on chains. Your piece should be securely wired to accommodate this. This often means wire is run between two eyehooks installed in the inner sides of the wood on the backs of canvases. If your work will not accommodate such wiring, please consider how it will hang on an “s” hook. Failure to ensure your piece is “hang ready” may result in dismissal of your work from the show. Please email emily@atomicrooster.ca if you are concerned about this so that we can address the issue ahead of time.

**IF your piece is EXTRA DELICATE: Feel free to speak with Emily or Michelle to arrange a dedicated drop-off time. While all art will be protected as much as possible, if you think your fragile or cumbersome piece will require extra attention, you can request a specific drop-off time. (Email emily@atomicrooster.ca )

***A note on ENORMOUS pieces: Space in this show is limited, and determined by the number of submissions we receive. To ensure your piece is included in the show, please avoid submitting an extremely large canvas (larger than 3 feet tall or wide). If you have your heart set on huge, please email emily@atomicrooster.ca to give us a heads up!

Thanks so much to all the artists who have participated in Cock Shows of yore and to all the folks who came out in support! You are what makes this community so vibrant. We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with this year!!
